District 41 Superintendent Search Process 2023/24

Superintendent Dr. Melissa Kaczkowski will be retiring at the end of this school year, 2023/2024. The Board of Education has selected the search firm School Exec Connect to lead the process to select the next superintendent for Glen Ellyn School District 41. The firm expects the Board to approve a new superintendent by January 2024. The appointment will not be effective until July 1, 2024.

Search Process 
At a Special Meeting on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, School Exec Connect representatives Dr. David Negron and Dr. Phil Salemi presented information about the superintendent search process and timeline (watch).The superintendent position will be officially posted on Monday, September 4, 2023. Focus groups will be conducted and a community survey will be administered early in the process to help create a new superintendent profile.
