Welcome

  • Welcome to School District 41!

District 41 is known for high student academic achievement and growth, a strong sense of community, and active family involvement. We serve about 3,600 children from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in four elementary schools and one junior high school. The District boundaries include five communities - Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Glendale Heights, Lombard, and Carol Stream.

District 41 offers unique opportunities for our students including Foreign Language at the Elementary Schools (½ hour of Spanish everyday starting in 1st grade), optional Dual Language Program, and Problem-Based Learning throughout the school year, to name a few.

According to the Illinois School Report Card, District 41 schools are designated in the top two categories of “exemplary” or “commendable.” Congratulations to Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and Forest Glen Elementary School for being designated as exemplary and listed in the top 10 percent of the state on the school report card.
