At the Board of Education meeting on March 22, 2021, the Board approved a plan to move forward with offering the full in-person traditional schedule (8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) starting on Monday, April 19. The full remote model will continue to be offered for those who choose it. Click here for the presentation of the plan presented by Superintendent Kaczkowski at the Board meeting (en espanol). The district will be sending information in the near future about any new consent forms that need to be signed. As a reminder, the district will give a status update on the volunteers needed for lunch and recess at the schools at the 4/12/21 Board of Education meeting. Volunteers are a crucial part of our ability to fully re-open.

    Traditional full in-person plan includes:

    • Buses not to exceed 49 students.
    • Classroom layout changes to reflect 3 ft social distancing and space reallocation as needed at the schools

    Full In-Person Hours:

    Welcome To Forest Glen School!

I am excited and honored to serve as principal for this wonderful school community. I believe that positive relationships are a necessary ingredient for a successful school, and will work each day to build and nurture those relationships with the students, staff, and parents of the Forest Glen community. I also believe that schools need to be fun and innovative learning environments where everyone (staff and students) can take risks in their learning, make mistakes, learn from those mistakes, and know that they are cared for and respected each day.

One of my goals is to be highly visible around the building and campus on a daily basis in the hopes of connecting with as many students and families as possible. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or comments please feel free to reach out to me.

    Go Eagles!

    Scott Klespitz
