Welcome!

  • At the September 14 Board of Education meeting, a plan to shift to our Blended AM/PM learning model was presented and supported by the Board. We are now planning on bringing the primary grades back for our blended model starting in October. Prioritizing the students who have the hardest time navigating remote learning is something that the current Illinois Department of Public Health framework and metrics supports. The plan remains to shift to the blended model for all students in November after the first quarter of the school year. It is important to note that the plan is based on the status of DuPage County COVID-19 metrics.

First Day of In-Person Learning Per Grade Level (tentative)
    October 15
    Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade
    October 19
    Pre-K
    November 2
    6th grade
    November 4
    Grades 3, 4, 5, 7, 8

An email with many more details about the plan and a commitment form was sent to parents/guardians on Tuesday, September 15. The form includes all of the information you will need to make a decision for each of your children. Please read the message and form carefully and respond no later than Friday, September 18 by the end of the day.

    Welcome To Forest Glen School!

I am excited and honored to serve as principal for this wonderful school community. I believe that positive relationships are a necessary ingredient for a successful school, and will work each day to build and nurture those relationships with the students, staff, and parents of the Forest Glen community. I also believe that schools need to be fun and innovative learning environments where everyone (staff and students) can take risks in their learning, make mistakes, learn from those mistakes, and know that they are cared for and respected each day.

One of my goals is to be highly visible around the building and campus on a daily basis in the hopes of connecting with as many students and families as possible. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or comments please feel free to reach out to me.

    Go Eagles!

    Scott Klespitz
    Principal
