    Dear District 41 Community

In February, we launched our new Long-Range Plan. We went through a collaborative community engagement process and spent months working with representatives from all District 41 stakeholder groups, including students, to create the plan. Thank you to all who participated in the process. The five-year plan will include Quarterly Progress Reports to the community. Within the plan are Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that we will use to send updates until 2021. The first Quarterly Progress Report is available by clicking the links below. We believe it is important for the community to follow our progress over the next five years. We will celebrate goals accomplished along the way, especially the positive impact on our students, who helped us create a Student Profile that will continue to inspire our work.

I am also pleased to share that we were invited to present our new Long-Range Plan at an annual public school leaders conference this fall. More than 9,500 typically attend this Joint Annual Conference of the Illinois Association of School Boards, Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA), and Illinois Association of School Business Officials (Illinois ASBO). I am very proud of our district for the process we went through and the outcome of the final Long-Range Plan.

I hope you are all enjoying summer break! I look forward to the first day of school on August 23. It will be here before we know it.

    Dr. Paul Gordon
    Superintendent
