Child Find and Pre-School Screening Information

In accordance with IDEA, Glen Ellyn School District 41 participates in Child Find efforts to locate, evaluate, and identify all children from birth through 21 years of age with disabilities, who require special education and related services.

If you would like your child screened for a disability, please contact District 41 by calling 630-534-7260.

Step 1: Contact District 41 by calling 630-534-7466. to receive an Ages & Stages Screening packet. We will send out the packet within 7 business days of your initial call. Complete all information in the packet and return it in the enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope.

Step 2: Upon receipt of your completed packet, we will review the information and you will be notified within two weeks either by email or in writing of our findings and/or the next step in the process.
