Congratulations to the Hadley String Orchestra for receiving First Division Ratings at the Illinois Grade School Music Association District Contest held at Jackson Middle School in Villa Park on Saturday. The orchestra received very high scores from all three judges. This was the orchestra’s best performance thus far all year! The orchestra now qualifies to perform at the IGSMA State Festival on Saturday April 27, 2019! Fantastic teamwork orchestra members!
Big shout out to your 8th grade boys volleyball conference champions! They play a remarkable tournament last night finishing out each team they faced in two sets. Finishing the season at 11-2, they played the only team they have fallen short to in the season in the conference for the title. Jaystream fought hard to have the chance in the big show, but they were not ready for the skill, speed, dedication, and attack the 8th grade team brought at them. Great work Boys! Coach Winkelmann is super proud of all your accomplishments and growth this season.
Congratulations also goes out to the 7th grade boys volleyball team for becoming conference champions last night. The boys did not lose a single set sweeping their way to a conference title. The boys played great all season and did not lose a single game in conference. Well done 7th grade boys.
Four Hadley students competed last weekend in the National K-12 Chess Championship, with over 1,700 students participating from across the country. Hadley competed in a bracket which had 344 participants and finisthed in 18th place!
The 8th grade girls basketball team will play in the conference championship at 5pm at Leman! Good luck Wildcat girls!
