Generally, projections are built from:
US Census figures and DuPage County projections
Anticipated residential building activity
Generational turnover (when empty-nesters sell to families with children)
Birth rates
Turnover rates from grade to grade
Any other factors that could impact enrollment such as a new private school in the district or a change in the economic forecast for the area.
