About Us
Glen Ellyn School District 41 is a high-performing public school district serving approximately 3,500 students in preschool through eighth grade. All schools are located in Glen Ellyn and the district serves the communities of Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Wheaton, Lombard, and Carol Stream. With a long-standing tradition of excellence, District 41 is committed to providing exceptional educational experiences that prepare every student for success in high school, college, career, and life.
Our district includes four elementary schools, a Kindergarten Center, a preschool program, a dual-language program, and Hadley Junior High School. Students move on from Hadley to Glenbard West High School. Together, our dedicated educators, staff, families, and community members work to create engaging learning environments where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
District 41 is guided by a strategic commitment to academic excellence, student well-being, and continuous growth. Our students consistently perform among the highest-achieving learners in Illinois while benefiting from a well-rounded educational experience that includes the arts, world languages, athletics, technology, and social-emotional learning.
We believe that strong schools are built through strong partnerships. The voices of students, families, staff, and community members help shape our decisions and strengthen our district. Through active engagement and collaboration, we work together to ensure every student feels valued, connected, and empowered to succeed.
As we honor our rich history and embrace future opportunities, District 41 remains focused on fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and belonging. We are proud of what our students achieve each day and grateful for a community that shares our commitment to educational excellence.
Together, #WeAreD41
