Superintendent's Advisory Councils
The Superintendent leads two advisory councils to engage, inform, and gather feedback from students, parents, and community members.
Superintendent’s Community Advisory Council (SCAC)
The SCAC fosters meaningful conversations, candid feedback, and the sharing of ideas that represent the perspectives of our community

The SCAC fosters meaningful conversations, candid feedback, and the sharing of ideas that represent the perspectives of our community
- Serve a two-year term
- Must live within District 41 boundaries (current student enrollment not required)
- Meetings held in person four times per year
Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC)
The SSAC is made up of three 8th-grade Student Board of Education members, three 7th graders, three 6th graders, and two 5th graders from each elementary school. The council provides feedback and shares student perspectives on district happenings directly with the Superintendent.
- Serve a one-year term
- Parent/guardian approval required to serve
- Meetings held in person four times per year
