Communications

The Communications Department serves as the main connection between the school district and the community. The goal is to build relationships through communication and community engagement opportunities. The Chief Communications Officer manages district specific external communication, community engagement, crisis communication, and media relations.

Erika Krehbiel has served as the Chief Communications Officer for District 41 since 2014.  She represents District 41 in the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn, Glen Ellyn and Glendale Heights Kiwanis Clubs, Glen Ellyn Lions Club, and the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as a non-voting liaison to the D41 Kids Foundation. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois National School Public Relations Association (INSPRA).
