Programs for Students At Risk of Academic Failure and/or Dropping Out of School
The Superintendent or designee shall develop, maintain, and supervise a plan for students at risk of academic failure or dropping out of school.  The program shall include education and support services that address individual learning styles, career development, and social needs, and may include without limitation one or more of the following:

  1. Parent-teacher conferences
  2. Counseling services by social workers and/or guidance counselor
  3. Counseling services by psychologists
  4. Psychological testing
  5. Truants’ alternative and optional education program
  6. Alternative school placement
  7. Community agency services
  8. Alternative Learning Opportunities Program, in conformity with the Alternative Learning Opportunities Law, as it may be amended from time-to-time
  9. Remediation program
