Religious Holidays
Religious holidays other than those recognized by the Illinois State Code shall be granted to a maximum of three (3) days per school term. A deduction in salary equal to the cost of a substitute each day shall be made from the employee’s pay whether a substitute is needed or not. An employee desiring to take leave under this policy must notify his principal or immediate supervisor at least ten (10) days in advance of the requested leave.
