| Board fills finance position The Glen Ellyn School District 41 Board of Education has approved hiring Robert J. Ciserella, Jr. as the Assistant Superintendent for Finance, Facilities and Operations, effective July 1. The action was taken at a special Board of Education meeting on Monday, Feb. 5. Currently, Ciserella is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations in Cary School District 26. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Director of Finance in Crystal Lake District 47. He has experience in the private sector as well, having owned a small chain of restaurants for many years and worked in corporate finance. 'I am delighted that a person of Bob’s experience, energy and leadership ability will be joining our district,' said Superintendent Dr. Ann Riebock. Ciserella earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, his Master of Science in Education in School Business Management from Northern Illinois University, and is a member of several school business professional organizations.
